The Observ 520x is a state-of-the-art device that allows us at Angel Clinic to perform a comprehensive skin assessment. During the consultation, a cosmetologist carries out a computer-based skin analysis that enables us to look into its deeper layers. The analysis covers the skin’s surface, texture, blood vessels, and pigmentation. Additionally, we use as many as eight lighting modes, including daylight, parallel polarized light, cross-polarized light, UV light, and a Wood’s lamp. During the analysis, we take high-resolution photographs. This allows us to gather precise data needed for an accurate skin diagnosis and to implement an effective in-clinic treatment plan as well as a tailored home skincare routine.

Preparation and Process of the Observ 520x Computerized Skin Analysis
Before the procedure, we recommend not applying any makeup or skincare products for at least 12 hours prior to the analysis.
The visit begins with a consultation with a cosmetologist, during which the cosmetologist explains in detail how the Observ 520x device works. Next, the computerized skin analysis is performed, including measurements and photographic documentation.
We determine, among other things:
the skin’s hydration level,
the amount of sebum,
the presence of pigmentation changes,
the presence of inflammatory conditions,
skin vascularization,
the occurrence of wrinkles.
